“Tell ‘em a hookah-smoking caterpillar has given you the call”

Here is the chronological order in which this piece was created. I started by finger painting the initial colors down, then using my fingers to make the white dots. From there I used a thin brush and applied many layers of colors to what looked like feathers. In conjunction with my life line always being inspired and motivated by music, I experimented with visually textured scaly lines. I love the colors and psychedelic feeling to this piece.
